Role
The Managing Team is responsible for defining and implementing the journal's editorial strategy, maintaining scientific quality standards, and ensuring the consistency of published research with the journal's Aims & Scope.
The Managing Team establishes the journal's scientific and editorial priorities, identifies emerging research directions and topics of international relevance, and develops the annual editorial plan and publication schedule. It oversees the editorial assessment of submitted manuscripts, coordinates the peer-review process, monitors publication quality, and ensures compliance with the journal's publication ethics and research integrity policies.
The team regularly evaluates developments in biotechnology and related scientific fields, assesses the journal's thematic coverage, and supports the continuous improvement of its editorial policies, international visibility, and scientific impact.
The Managing Team works in collaboration with the Editorial Board – Scientific Members and independent external reviewers to ensure that publication decisions are based exclusively on scientific merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance, and compliance with internationally recognized editorial standards.
