Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

"Scientific Bulletin Series F. Biotehnologies" is committed to ensuring the highest ethical standards in publishing, taking all possible measures against any publication malpractices. We adhere strictly to the guidelines set out by the Journal's Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring that our authors, reviewers, and editors maintain these standards.

Editorial Responsibilities
The editorial board, under the leadership of the General Editor, has the responsibility to make decisions about the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts, guided by the journal's policies and legal requirements such as defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The board ensures that all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous single-blind peer review process and are evaluated in a fair, unbiased, and timely manner based solely on their scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. Confidentiality is maintained in all stages of the process, and any conflicts of interest related to the publication decisions are disclosed. The editorial team ensures the complete independence of these decisions, unaffected by any commercial or financial interests.

Authors' Responsibilities
All authors listed on a submitted manuscript are expected to have made a significant contribution to the research and to have reviewed and approved the final manuscript. The authors must ensure that their work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Proper citation of all sources used in the creation of their manuscript is a requirement, and any potential conflicts of interest that could be perceived as influencing the research or its interpretation must be disclosed. If any errors are discovered in their manuscript after submission or publication, the authors are obligated to notify the editorial board.

Reviewers' Responsibilities
Reviewers, chosen based on their expertise in the field, are required to evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content, scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the scope of the journal, while maintaining confidentiality and declaring any conflicts of interest that may compromise the integrity of the review process.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement Violations
In the event of any suspected ethical misconduct, the journal takes these allegations seriously and will promptly investigate such claims. The journal reserves the right to take appropriate action in the case of any publication ethics or publication malpractice violations, including but not limited to retracting or correcting published articles, removing an article from the publication queue, imposing a ban on future submissions from an author, reviewer, or editor, or referring the case to a higher authority such as the University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest or the Faculty of Biotechnologies' ethics committee.

Authors must also provide access to the data supporting their research and retain the data for a reasonable time after publication. Any human or animal research conducted must obtain appropriate approval and informed consent, and the journal may request evidence of such approvals.

We maintain a clear separation between advertisements or sponsored content and editorial decisions to ensure that there is no undue influence.

In case of any concerns or queries regarding our publication ethics and malpractice statement, or any arising issues with respect to publication ethics or malpractice, we encourage all involved parties to contact us or the Editorial Board for investigation and resolution.
